Jochen Schnepper is a member of the Real Estate Finance & Restructurings practice, and its Financial industry group. He focuses his banking practice on real estate finance. He advises all types of sponsors, including family offices, private equity firms, hedge funds and institutional investors, as well as mezzanine and senior lenders on real estate acquisition or development financings. He also advises private equity sponsors on leverage and buy-out finance.

- Melcombe Partners and GIC on the acquisition financing for German logistics properties as part of a pan-European logistics portfolio
- Marcol and a US hedge fund on the financing for their German self-storage portfolio managed by an Opco/Propco structure
- Rock Co. Capital Limited on financial restructuring for an industrial site in Germany
- Arax Properties and Eurazeo SA on acquisition financing for German mixed-use portfolio in Berlin

Jochen was admitted as a German lawyer (Rechtsanwalt) in 2013. Prior to joining Goodwin in 2021, Jochen worked for Hengeler Mueller in their Frankfurt, London, and Munich offices and was last partner at a real estate boutique in Frankfurt.
