Sebastian Seeger is an associate in Goodwin's Real Estate Industry group and the firm’s Private Investment Funds practice. He advises investment funds as well as their asset managers, intermediaries, and institutional investors on regulatory and corporate matters. Prior to joining Goodwin, Sebastian worked at the university, European institutions and several international law firms.
Sebastian is native in German and fluent in English as well as French. He has also started to learn Norwegian.

Sebastian has been admitted as a German lawyer (Rechtsanwalt) since 2021. Prior to joining Goodwin, he worked as research fellow and assistant for Professor Dr. h.c. mult. Erik Jayme, LL.M. (Berkeley) at the University of Heidelberg. Sebastian was also an assistant of a Member of the European Parliament in Strasbourg and a research fellow for the Advocate General at the European Court of Justice Prof. Dr. Kokott, LLM (Harvard). He clerked in several international law firms such as Linklaters, Baker McKenzie (Sao Paulo), Cleary Gottlieb Steen (Brussels), and at the general legal department of Norsk Hydro (Oslo).
