Kerry Robyn Sherman

Kerry Sherman is an associate in Goodwin’s Technology practice. She maintains a broad practice advising Technology and Life Sciences clients on general corporate, intellectual property, technology transactions, and commercialization matters. 

Kerry provides intellectual property advice for venture financings and M&A transactions, as well as counsels clients with respect to intellectual property and technology matters in connection with their day-to-day business operations, development, licensing, and commercialization of IP assets. She also represents early and late stage start up clients throughout the corporate life cycle including formation, day-to-day corporate counseling, and venture capital financings.

Kerry served as a co-chair of the Law Student Committee for the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area (AABA).

During law school, Kerry worked as the Research Assistant to three professors, a Teaching Assistant in Legal Research & Writing, and served as a Law Clerk at the Family Protection & Legal Assistance Clinic.

Prior to law school, Kerry worked as a Disclosure and Closing Paralegal at a finance boutique. She also gained business experience as the Sales and Operations Manager of a San Francisco start-up company.
