Michael was a summer associate at Goodwin in 2024. He interned for a federal judge at the United States District Court for the Northern District of California in 2023. Michael prosecuted patents before the United States Patent and Trademark Office with the Patent and Licensing Clinic at the University of Virginia School of Law. Michael served on the editorial board of the Virginia Journal of Law and Technology. He was actively involved in pro bono activities in law school as an intake team member and intake team leader for the Innocence Project. Michael was a member of the mock trial team.
