Alex Talel is an associate in the firm’s Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice. He previously served as law clerk to Judge Jon O. Newman of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and to Judge Sidney H. Stein of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Prior to joining Goodwin in 2022, he was associated with another major international law firm.

  • A leading electronic components manufacturer in international arbitration against a leading telecommunications corporation.*
  • An international advertising firm in a federal breach of contract action.*

Mr. Talel maintains an active pro bono practice, most recently partnering with the New York City Bar Justice Center to secure an unprecedented outcome by convincing a New York State court to vacate its own prior ruling of summary judgment that would have effectively evicted the client from his home.
