Joshua Tarr is an associate in the firm’s Business Law Department and a member of its Technology group. Mr. Tarr works with technology, life sciences, and emerging companies throughout their corporate lifecycle, from formation to exit, and the venture capital and strategic investors that finance those companies, with a focus on seed, venture and growth equity financings, public securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic transactions. He also represents a number of publicly traded companies in ongoing SEC compliance matters. Mr. Tarr joined Goodwin in 2019.
Professional Activities
Mr. Tarr is a member of the Boston Bar Association.
Professional Experience
While attending law school, Mr. Tarr served as a legal intern in MIT’s Office of the General Counsel. He also served as an editorial board member for Virginia Law Review.
Prior to law school, Mr. Tarr taught English to French high school students in Fontainebleau, France.
