Kiersten Taylor is a Manager of Attorney Development, and in that role bears responsibility for the professional development of junior, mid-level, and senior litigation associates in all four of Goodwin’s California offices.
Kiersten partners directly with Firm and Practice group leadership to ensure the efficient and effective administration of the practices and to deliver industry-leading client service. In furtherance of that aim, she sits on the firmwide Attorney Development Committees for IP Litigation, Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution, and Junior Associates (Litigation). Kiersten also works closely with colleagues in Talent Acquisition, Learning & Professional Development, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion to enhance the development, engagement, and retention of attorneys of all levels. She serves as a confidential resource to associates and counsel, providing career guidance and support through all stages of their careers, from initial onboarding through elevation and/or transition. She also actively participates in the evaluation processes for associates and counsel.
Professional Experience
Before joining Goodwin in 2021, Kiersten practiced as a corporate restructuring associate at Brown Rudnick LLP in Boston, where she advised businesses, official and unofficial creditors’ committees and estate fiduciaries in connection with all aspects of multi-million dollar business reorganizations, including asset sales, governmental compliance and claims resolution. She subsequently practiced as a litigation associate at Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP in Cambridge, where she advised businesses in connection with all aspects of multi-million dollar antitrust litigation, including case investigation, case prosecution, settlement negotiation, and trial preparation.
