Lindsay Thomas is an associate in the Debt Finance and Private Equity groups at Goodwin. She started at the firm in 2022. Her practice focuses on the representation of private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies, and other private companies in connection with acquisition and other debt financings.
Experience
Lindsay has extensive experience advising private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies and corporate borrowers in acquisition financings, syndicated credit facilities, second lien, mezzanine and asset based facilities across various industries. Lindsay also has experience with early stage companies including venture-debt financings. In addition, Lindsay brings both in-house legal counsel and executive management experience to her practice, previously serving as legal counsel and chief financial officer of a Maryland-based consumer packaged goods brand in the health and wellness space.

Prior to joining Goodwin, Lindsay was an associate in the Corporate Finance and Lending Practice at Akerman LLP in DC. Prior to that, Lindsay served as the Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel of a Maryland CPG start-up in the health and wellness space and a debt finance associate at Kirkland and Ellis LLP in New York.
