Michael C. Ting is an associate in Goodwin’s Intellectual Property practice. Mr. Ting joined Goodwin in 2021. Mr. Ting focuses his practice on complex intellectual property matters, including patent litigation and IP portfolio counseling. Mr. Ting has also litigated cases involving California Right of Publicity law, trade secret misappropriation and trademark infringement. Mr. Ting has litigated cases in numerous Federal District Courts as well as the United States International Trade Commission. Mr. Ting has also worked on appeals to the Federal Circuit as well as the Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. Mr. Ting has worked on cases and matters including complex technologies including semiconductor manufacturing, packaging and design, LCD and LED technology, augmented reality, display technology, various wireless communication protocols, and applications for graphene.
Mr. Ting is also an adjunct professor at San Jose State University where he has taught Intellectual Property to graduate candidates in the Masters of Biotechnology program.

- One of the pioneering companies in Augmented Reality in its first patent infringement case related to its ground-breaking AR headsets.
