Jess Tomlin is an associate in the firm’s Business Law department. Jess represents clients across the corporate lifecycle, including entity formation, general corporate representation, venture and equity financings, and mergers and acquisitions. Jess also advises venture capital firms and companies on crypto/blockchain transactions and token launches. She joined Goodwin in 2024.

previous Professional Experience
Prior to law school, Jess worked at a FinTech startup based in Silicon Valley. In law school, Jess gained in-house legal experience working in the legal department of Vivid Seats. She also worked for the Kirkland & Ellis Corporate Lab at the University of Chicago, where she advised a diverse range of clients, spanning Fortune 500 companies to early-stage startups, on corporate governance, intellectual property, and privacy matters.
