Eugena Tong

Eugena Tong is an associate in the firm’s Business Law Department and a member of the firm’s Private Equity group. 

Ms. Tong joined Goodwin in 2019 and has advised private equity clients on early and late-stage venture capital investments and joint ventures. Ms. Tong has also advised on fund formation and private investment funds related matters. 

Ms. Tong speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Ms. Tong’s experience includes advising:

• FountainVest Partners in its $900 million acquisition of Beijing Zhendong Langdi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. 
• PTK Acquisition Corp. (NYSE: PTK) in their $1.1 billion business combination with Valens Semiconductor
• Tiancheng International Investment in its proposed €1.1 billion sale of Tiancheng Pharmaceutical Holding AG to Grifols
• Hillhouse Investment in various investments in biotech companies and joint ventures with sports companies
• DST Global in its Asian investments including Airwallex and Kuaishou
