Lee Usiskin is an associate in the firm’s Litigation department. His practice focuses on government and internal investigations, complex commercial, financial, and shareholder disputes, and ERISA litigation.
Lee joined Goodwin in 2023.
Experience
Lee’s recent representations include:
- A large asset management holding company and its retirement committee in defense of an ERISA class action challenging the holding company’s use of its affiliates’ investment products in its 401(k) plan, culminating in a successful two-week trial on the merits
- The board of directors of a publicly-traded pharmaceutical company in connection with an internal investigation into administration of a vaccine outside of approved clinical trial protocol
- A private equity firm in defense of alter-ego liability and fraudulent inducement claims in a multimillion-dollar commercial dispute
- Numerous clients in Financial Industry Regulatory Authority investigations
- Multiple life sciences companies in non-competition disputes
- A pro bono client charged with first degree murder by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

Professional Experience
During law school, Lee was a member of Boston University’s Criminal Defense Clinic. He also served as a Note Editor for the Boston University Public Interest Law Journal.
Prior to law school, Lee was a litigation paralegal at Sullivan & Cromwell.
