professional Experience
Prior to joining Goodwin, Ms. Uwazurike completed internships for the United States Attorney’s Office in Boston and the American Civil Liberties Union of Massachusetts. In her final semester of law school, she completed an externship for the Honorable Mary T. Sullivan of the Massachusetts Appeals Court. She also served as a student attorney for the Boston College Civil Litigation Clinic where she worked on family and housing matters.
While attending law school, she was a member of the First Amendment Moot Court team and Co-President of the Black Law Students Association. She also served as an articles editor for the Boston College Law Review.

As a summer associate with Goodwin in 2017, Ms. Uwazurike was awarded Best Overall Memo (with fellow summer associate Farnell Morisset) by the Anti-Defamation league (ADL) New York region’s Summer Associate Research Program memo competition.
