Bastien Voisin leads Goodwin’s Luxembourg tax practice and is a principal in the firm’s global Private Investment Fund group. Mr. Voisin advises institutional investors, asset managers, multinational technology and life sciences companies, and high-net-worth individuals on all aspects of international taxation and cross-border structuring.
He focuses in particular on the private investment funds industry, including private equity, real estate, venture capital and hedge funds.
Mr. Voisin is a regular speaker at a number of conferences.
He is fluent in French, English and Spanish.
Experience
- Advised Capital Bay Group on the formation of a joint venture with UAE-based Gulf Islamic Investments LLC. Under the joint venture, the two partners are launching a joint that will investment in European senior living real estate opportunities through various funds. The Luxembourg-regulated platform will launch in September 2021 with an initial €500 million offering focused on real estate investments located in Germany and potentially in other Continental European markets
