Professional Activities

Prior to law school, Victoria received her bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University where she studied threats to global security under the guidance of international experts on terrorism. She interned for the Brennan Center for Justice’s Justice program where she supported research and policy arguments related to mass incarceration. She also interned for Sesame Workshop’s content research team.

Victoria received her law degree from New York Law School where she was one of few students to complete a rigorous course of specialized study in Privacy law which included training in privacy theory, post data breach counseling, and cyber incident response plans. She founded the Privacy Law Association to provide additional resources to students interested in pursuing privacy careers. She also participated in their cyberharassment clinic which assisted individuals who were victims of cyber exploitation.

Victoria started her professional career with Pitta & Baione, LLP where she developed skills in managing large, intricate caseloads, trauma informed counseling, and project management. She then worked for Lewis Brisbois’ Data Privacy group on almost exclusively incident response work. She routinely oversaw forensic investigations and guided clients through ransomware, business email compromise, and insider theft events. She also provided counsel on best business practices and legal obligations arising from those events.
