Katy is an Associate in Goodwin’s Tax practice and advises on a wide range of tax matters with a particular focus on private investment funds and real estate.
Katy advises fund managers on the domestic and international tax aspects of structuring private investment funds across a range of asset classes, including real estate, real estate debt, infrastructure, fund of funds, venture capital and private equity, and also represents a wide range of investors in negotiating and structuring their investments into products. Katy also advises multi-jurisdictional fund management teams on executive incentivisation arrangements.
In addition, Katy advises on real estate joint ventures and transactions.
Katy is also a Chartered Tax Adviser, having passed the exams of the CIOT (and prior to that, the exams of the Association of Taxation Technicians).
