Samantha Webster

Samantha Webster is a science advisor in Goodwin’s Business Law department and a member of its Intellectual Property practice. She uses her background in life sciences to assist clients in patent preparation, patent prosecution, IP diligence, and freedom to operate analyses. She joined Goodwin in 2025.

Prior to joining Goodwin, Samantha completed her PhD at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the lab of Dr. Joey Davis. Her dissertation work employed mass spectrometry and neural network analysis of cryo-EM datasets to understand mechanisms of biogenesis in the E. coli large ribosomal subunit.
