Jenna Welsh

Jenna Welsh is an associate in the firm’s Healthcare and Litigation practices and a member of the firm’s Government Investigations & Enforcement group. Her practice focuses on representing and advising companies in the healthcare and life sciences sectors in connection with government and internal investigations, white collar criminal defense, and complex litigation.

Jenna has significant experience representing clients through all phases of government investigations and litigation, including matters involving the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, healthcare fraud allegations, consumer protection claims, and contract disputes. She regularly represents companies responding to civil investigative demands, subpoenas, and other government inquiries, and has substantial experience coordinating investigations and managing complex discovery. Throughout her time at Goodwin, she has also authored and contributed to numerous briefs and dispositive motions in both state and federal court. 

Jenna re-joined Goodwin after serving as a law clerk for the Honorable Danielle J. Forrest on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Jenna was an associate at Goodwin from 2020–2022 before completing her clerkship. During law school, Jenna served as an editor on the Harvard Law Review and participated in Harvard Law School’s Supreme Court Litigation Clinic. She also worked as a law clerk at Sostrin Immigration Lawyers, and as a summer associate at Goodwin in 2019.
