June 2, 2011
TechStars Boston Office, Cambridge, Massachusetts

Summary

TechStars is a mentorship-driven seed stage investment program that launched on January 2001 as part of the White House Startup America initiative. The three-month long international program provides seed funding, mentorship and networking opportunities with angel investors and venture capitalists to a very select group of technology start-up companies. Goodwin Procter is collaborating with TechStars with Bob Bishop and John Mutkoski, partners in the Technology Companies Group, participating in a teach-in program for participants introducing them to the Founders Workbench. Bob and John will discuss common mistakes that entrepreneurs make and will share their insights into financing strategies and considerations.
