The Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC) serves to integrate government first responders and private sector leaders. HSAC works to ensure that should a disaster occur, first responders will be able to quickly and efficiently identify the private sector resources and expertise available to them.
HSAC is comprised of a voluntary, non-partisan coalition of high-level business, government, law enforcement and academic leaders who are dedicated to improving the emergency response capabilities of the greater Los Angeles region through public-private partnerships. HSAC is a nonprofit organization and has 501 (c) (3) tax exempt status. It is solely funded through private sector contributions.
