Summary

The White Collar Criminal Law Committee has assembled a comprehensive full-day program that will explore critical developments that have characterized this era of white collar enforcement. Plenary sessions will focus on the opportunities for advocacy in white collar practice, and what lessons can be gleaned from recent high profile trials. Rich Strassberg, co-chair of Goodwin Procter's Securities Litigation & White Collar Defense Group and chair of its White Collar Crime & Government Investigations Practice, will speak on the panel "Lessons From Recent Trials." Topics that will be addressed include: Strategies and tactics that worked (and did not work) in recent trials; How important are pre-trial investigative efforts and motions?; and should criminal and civil trials be approached in the same way?
