To kick off Asian Pacific American Heritage Month and Well-Being Week in Law and in partnership with the Asian Pacific Fund, Goodwin’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and You@Goodwin teams hosted a virtual event to welcome author and MSNBC anchor Richard Lui to discuss his new book, Enough About Me. In the book, Richard shared how one of the big ideas of our time is more in reach than we thought, and how small choices toward selflessness are not a compromise. Choice by choice, step by step, we can do something bigger than ourselves. This event was moderated by Neel Chatterjee.
Book and Film
With the purchase of the book, you’ll receive an exclusive link to also view Richard’s film Sky Blossom before it is released to the general public at the end of May. This Academy Award-qualifying film is a raw, uplifting window into 24.5 million children and millennials stepping forward as frontline heroes. Caring for family with tough medical conditions, they stay at home doing things often seen only in hospitals. They are cheerleaders, work part time, and go to college — but also live double lives — quietly growing up as America’s next greatest generation.
*A free autographed copy of the book will be sent to the first 200 registrants.
