Please join The Legal Aid Society’s Community Development Project and Goodwin’s Neighborhood Business Initiative for a six-part workshop series designed to provide education for entrepreneurs about the legal and regulatory foundations involved in launching a cannabis business in New York.

The second event in this series, Crowdfunding, discusses the pros and cons of raising capital through crowdfunding, the equity crowdfunding landscape, the role of crowdfunding platforms, and related legal considerations. This presentation will focus on crowdfunding for small businesses under the JOBS Act of 2013 and discuss next steps for an entrepreneur interested in pursuing equity crowdfunding.
