Goodwin Procter Managing Partner Regina M. Pisa Receives 2001 Pinnacle Award

BOSTON, MA — Goodwin Procter LLP is pleased to announce that Chairman and Managing Partner Regina M. Pisa has been awarded the 2001 Pinnacle Award from the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Pisa, along with six other award recipients, was honored at the Pinnacle Awards ceremony on Friday, February 2 at the Westin Hotel in Boston.

Ms. Pisa received the Pinnacle's “Achievement in the Professions” honor for her vast contributions, leadership and high visibility in the local business community. She is extremely active in numerous professional organizations, and serves on the Board of Director of Citizens Financial Group, Jobs for Massachusetts, Boston Plan for Excellence in Public Education, Women's Educational and Industrial Union, Franciscan's Children's Hospital, and the Easter Seals Society of Massachusetts. Ms. Pisa is also a member of the Supreme Judicial Court Nominating Committee, appointed by Massachusetts Governor Paul Cellucci, to select judges to sit on the state's Supreme Judicial Court.

Now in its seventh year, the Pinnacle Award recognizes the accomplishments of women in Greater Boston who have achieved excellence in business, management and the professions. The award was established by The Women's Network of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, a group that promotes and expands economic opportunities throughout the area for all women in business through shared leadership and expertise.

Farris, President, Forest City Enterprises - Boston (Achievement in Management, Private Sector); Merita A. Reilinger, Ph.D., President & CEO, Crittenton Hastings House (Achievement in Management, Non-Profit); and Karyn M. Wilson, Vice President of Marketing, ZEFER Corporation (Emerging Executive).
