Roberto M. Braceras Named to State Ballot Law Commission

BOSTON, Jan. 26, 2006 — Goodwin Procter LLP, a leading national law firm with offices in Boston, New York and Washington, DC, today announced that Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney has named Roberto M. Braceras to the State Ballot Law Commission, the five-member panel that determines the legality and accuracy of nomination papers for the state ballot.

Braceras is a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department, specializing in white collar criminal defense, securities fraud and complex commercial and product liability litigation. He has handled a range of criminal and civil cases in state and federal courts, on behalf of corporate and individual clients.

Braceras is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Yale Law School.
