Goodwin Partner Thomas Griffin Retires

Boston litigation partner Tom Griffin, who joined Goodwin Procter in 1974 as an associate, is retiring after more than 35 years of service to his clients and the firm. A renowned trial lawyer who helped build Goodwin Procter’s Litigation Practice into the powerhouse it is today, Tom has represented some of the firm’s most significant clients in cases critical to their success.

A consummate litigator known for his gifts in the courtroom, Tom clearly loves his work – the strategy, the competition and the oral advocacy – and I know it will be difficult for him to step away. It will be even harder for his clients, who have counted on Tom’s wise counsel over the years, and for our products liability litigators, who have been mentored by Tom as they have developed their own impressive practices.
