BOSTON, September 14, 2011 – Goodwin Procter, a national Am Law 50 firm, has been named as a “Best Law Firm for Women” by the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE) and Flex-Time Lawyers for the second consecutive survey year. The list recognizes 50 law firms across the nation that are supporting female lawyers with work-life balance and women-friendly policies, offering new standards that retain and promote top female legal talent. The firm will be honored with other winners at a special reception in New York City on September 21.

All law firms with more than 50 attorneys were eligible to submit responses to detailed questions on the issues that are most important to the retention and promotion of female lawyers. The 50 winning firms were selected based on factors that included their workforce profile, family-friendly benefits and policies, flexibility, leadership, compensation, and advancement and retention of women.
