Goodwin Procter today announced that it is has been named as one of the 2013 Top Ten Family Friendly Firms by Yale Law Women (YLW). This is the eighth year YLW has published its Top Ten list, which recognizes those law firms that have demonstrated a dedication to developing and implementing family friendly practices and policies, including flex-time, part-time and childcare support. The annual survey is conducted among Vault 100-ranked law firms. A complete list of the winning firms can be found here; the full YLW report can be read here.
In addition to Goodwin’s Top Ten ranking, YLW also recognized the firm in the category of Superior Performance in Gender Parity in Partner Promotions, noting it was one of only nine firms to achieve gender parity in partner promotions in 2012. Goodwin elected nine individuals to the firm’s partnership last year including five women.
“We are extremely pleased to be selected as one of country’s most family friendly law firms,” said Regina Pisa, chairman of Goodwin Procter. “Goodwin is always seeking new ways to support all of our employees and create a better workplace for them. We’re honored that Yale Law Women has recognized our efforts in this area.”
