Two Goodwin Partners Named as Top 250 Women in IP

Managing Intellectual Property’s IP Stars named Goodwin partners Jennifer Albert and Elizabeth Holland to its Top 250 Women in IP guide.

Albert, a partner in Goodwin’s IP Litigation Group, has more than 25 years of intellectual property litigation experience. She focuses on litigation of claims relating to patent, trademark and copyright matters, including infringement claims, unfair competition and deceptive trade practices, misappropriation of trade secrets, false advertising and claims relating to licensing, distribution and other contracts involving intellectual property rights.

Holland, a partner in Goodwin's IP Litigation Group, is an experienced trial lawyer focusing exclusively on patent infringement and related litigation. With more than 25 years of experience, she has litigated patents in many different technical areas and industries, including pharmaceutical, chemical, medical device and consumer products.

The partners appearing in Top 250 Women in IP were chosen based upon the rankings of the 2014 edition of IP Stars. That research included thousands of interviews and surveys by IP partners and law firms across the United States. The most prominent female attorneys from that process make up the Top 250 Women in IP.

Goodwin’s Patent Litigation Practice is ranked by IP Law and Business as having one of the nation’s most active patent litigation practices with more than 150 attorneys and scientists dedicated to protecting client assets. Providing counsel on infringement, validity and patentability issues, Goodwin attorneys also have extensive experience before the Federal Circuit, the International Trade Commission, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
