Civil Rights Fight Looms On Charter Schools Cap (Boston Globe)

Goodwin Procter partner Paul F. Ware Jr., along with Foley Hoag’s Michael B. Keating, and WilmerHale’s William F. Lee, say the lawsuit they will file to overturn the Massachusetts state cap on the number of charter schools will ensure that students in Boston and other urban districts have equal access to a quality education. This will be the first challenge to a charter school cap in any state and marks a unique alliance between lawyers at peer firms in Boston.
