Goodwin Announces 2018 1L Diversity Student Fellows

Professionals

Global law firm Goodwin announced today the recipients of its 1L Diversity Fellowship Program. The full list of 1L recipients is available here.

“We are thrilled to announce this year’s 1L Diversity Fellowship recipients, each of whom demonstrates a significant commitment to public service so early on in their legal careers,” said Emily Rapalino, Goodwin’s National Hiring Partner. “A commitment to diversity is a deeply held value, but it is also a necessity for any organization to achieve its goals. We are always looking for new and creative ways to expand and deepen our commitments to diversity and pro bono service, and these fellowships are a prime example."

1L fellowships support first-year students from underrepresented backgrounds across the United States who demonstrate an interest in spending the summer working in public interest legal positions. In their summer roles, students gain varied experiences, involving a wide range of client populations and areas of the law.
