Firm more than doubles office space taking a full floor at Edinburgh Tower
Global law firm Goodwin announced today that its Hong Kong office has relocated to Edinburgh Tower at the Landmark in Hong Kong’s Central business district. The new state-of-the-art office in the city’s financial heartland is home to Goodwin’s 35 Hong Kong-based lawyers and professional staff.
“We are excited to move into our new and expanded space at Edinburgh Tower, which is ideally suited for our growing team,” said Yash Rana, Chair of Goodwin’s Hong Kong office. “Over the past ten years, the Hong Kong office has been the cornerstone of Goodwin’s success in Asia. By more than doubling our office space, we are showing our commitment to the region and to Hong Kong as a global financial center. Today, as more and more innovative companies and investors seek out Goodwin’s unique platform at the intersection of capital and innovation, our presence in Hong Kong continues to be at heart of our global offering.”
Goodwin’s new office at Edinburgh Tower occupies the building’s entire 38th floor. At over 13,000 square feet, the new space is more than double that of the previous office. Edinburgh Tower is part of the Landmark, a bustling commercial complex located in Central, Hong Kong, and home to many firm clients, including leading financial institutions, private equity houses and other innovative businesses.
Earlier this year, Goodwin celebrated the ten-year anniversary of its Hong Kong office and expanding Asia practice. The firm’s full-service practice in Hong Kong serves clients in all of Goodwin’s key industry verticals, including private equity, technology, life sciences, financial services and real estate.
This office move follows the recent openings of Goodwin’s technology and private equity-focused office in Santa Monica, private investment funds-focused office in Luxembourg and life sciences-focused office in Cambridge.
