Lawyers of Color has named Goodwin partner Mitzi Chang to its 2020 list of the nation’s best lawyers. The inaugural guide recognizes practitioners across the United States who combine noteworthy accomplishments over the past 12 months with a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion in the legal profession.
Chang is a partner in Goodwin’s Technology group and serves as co-chair of the firm’s FinTech practice and Digital Currency & Blockchain Technology practice. Her work focuses on corporate and securities law, representing public and private companies, venture capital and private equity firms and investment banks in capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings and other general corporate and securities matters.
Beyond her practice, Chang currently serves on the firm’s Committee on Racial and Ethnic Diversity (CRED@Goodwin), and is also a member of the hiring committee for Goodwin’s San Francisco office. She has previously been recognized as one of California’s “Top Women Lawyers” by Daily Journal and a “Cryptocurrency, Blockchain and Fintech Trailblazer” by National Law Journal.
