Lisa Haddad and Maggie Wong Honored by The Deal’s Top Women in Dealmaking 2022

Goodwin partners Lisa Haddad and Maggie Wong have been named to The Deal’s Top Women in Dealmaking list for 2022. The annual honor recognizes women in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, restructuring, and activist investing who have demonstrated excellence in their respective practices and who are “setting the bar for the next generation of attorneys.”

Haddad is a partner in and co-chair of the firm’s Public M&A/Corporate Governance practice, where she focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, securities offerings, securities law compliance for public companies, and general corporate matters. She is also a co-director of Goodwin’s Annual Directors Forum, an educational program designed for directors of public companies, and GOOD Directors, a pioneering leadership program focused on accelerating diversity in the boardroom. She has routinely been recognized for excellence in M&A and Corporate Governance by Chambers USA, The Legal 500 United States, and IFLR1000, and was recently named a BTI Client Service All-Star.

A partner in Goodwin’s Life Sciences practice, Wong is known for advising clients on corporate, transactional and strategic matters throughout their corporate lifecycle, as her varied practice represents emerging companies in the biotechnology, medical device, diagnostics, specialty pharmaceuticals and healthcare information technology sectors. She is currently the Northern California co-chair for the firm’s women’s initiative, Women@Goodwin, which seeks to recruit, retain and advance women throughout all levels of the firm. She was previously named Healthcare, Pharma & Biotech Dealmaker (Large Cap) of the Year by The Deal, and has also been recognized for excellence by Chambers USA, The Legal 500 United States and the Minority Corporate Counsel Association Rainmakers.
