Tyler J. Allain is an associate in the firm’s Trusts & Estate Planning practice. He advises individuals, families, and fiduciaries on all aspects of estate planning and probate and trust administration. Mr. Allain focuses his estate planning practice on the implementation of sophisticated strategies to provide for the management and preservation of wealth, including through minimization of estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes. Mr. Allain also advises fiduciaries, including personal representatives and trustees, on the administration of estates and trusts.

Prior to Joining Goodwin, Mr. Allain was an associate with Holland & Knight LLP in Boston.

While attending law school, Mr. Allain served as judicial intern at the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts in Worcester. Mr. Allain was also Executive Editor of the Suffolk University Law Review and earned several awards for demonstrating academic excellence, including Jurisprudence Awards in Civil Procedure, Torts, Property and Professional Responsibility.

Upon graduation, Mr. Allain was awarded the Processor Alexander J. Cella Award for Excellence in Administrative Law, the Seymour Schneider Prize for Excellence in Constitutional Rights, and the Violet Esta Bishop Award for Academic Excellence in Contracts.
