Dr. Davenport assists clients with prior art research, patent preparation, patent prosecution, and freedom to operate analyses. He has extensive experience in the fields of biotechnology, protein biochemistry, biophysics, cell biology, and structural biology.
Andrew M. Davenport
Dr. Davenport is a science law clerk in the firm's Business Law Department and a member of its Intellectual Property group. He joined Goodwin in 2015.
Prior to joining Goodwin, Dr. Davenport conducted doctoral research focused on the structural biology and biochemistry of several key enzymes implicated in human disease. He has presented his work at international conferences and authored numerous peer-reviewed articles in journals including Journal of Molecular Biology, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, and PLOS Pathogens.
