Kevin Dennis is a retired partner in the firm’s Business Law Department and a member of its Private Equity group. Mr. Dennis joined Goodwin in 1983 and has been a partner since 1990. The Private Equity group is composed of over 35 partners and the firm has more than 250 attorneys who focus on serving leading private equity, venture capital firms and emerging growth companies across the country. Mr. Dennis concentrates on private offerings, mergers and acquisitions, general corporate representation, securities law compliance, venture capital and corporate finance. He works with corporations and limited partnerships in various businesses, including health care, biotechnology, manufacturing, retail, and financial services.

Experience

Mr. Dennis’ private equity work includes leveraged recapitalizations, buyouts and minority investments, both in later stage and growth equity situations for leading private equity firms such as TA Associates and Charlesbank Capital Partners. Mr. Dennis also specializes in the representation of companies in sectors such as technology and information services, health care, financial services and consumer products. His work with these companies focus on strategic counsel, mergers and acquisitions including roll-up programs, equity and executive compensation programs for senior executives, and going-private transactions.
