Dan Espinoza is a partner in the firm’s Business Law Department and leads the firm’s Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (“SPAC”) practice. Mr. Espinoza advises clients in all aspects of the SPAC lifecycle, including forming and structuring sponsor entities, representing SPACs and SPAC sponsors in initial public offerings (“IPOs”); and representing operating companies, their investors and SPACs in business combinations.

Mr. Espinoza is also a member of the firm’s M&A/Corporate Governance practice and Technology group, where he has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Espinoza’s practice encompasses all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including representing domestic and foreign entities, private equity sponsors, and investment banks in private and public company transactions. 

While focusing on the technology and life sciences sectors, Mr. Espinoza’s practice spans a number of industries, including biotechnology, cryptocurrency, internet of things, digital media, consumer products, telecommunications, and e-commerce.
