Paige Esser is Goodwin’s Managing Director, Talent Acquisition and Management. She directs the firm’s human resources and talent acquisition functions to ensure the ability to attract, retain and motivate high quality lawyers and professional staff and ensure best practices in the management of compensation, employment, training and employee relations programs.
Prior to joining Goodwin in May 2014, Ms. Esser was Vice President of Human Resources for the Asset Management division of Fidelity Investments. In this role, Ms. Esser was responsible for partnering with business unit presidents to deliver all aspects of Human Resources to the Fixed Income, Equity Trading, and High Yield Investment businesses, including strategic workforce planning and recruiting, performance and talent management, employee relations, compensation development, and leadership coaching for both domestic and global offices.
Prior to joining Fidelity in 2006, Ms. Esser was Director of People Strategy for Sapient Corporation in Washington, D.C., where she led a global team of 15 managers in Germany, India and the U.K., in addition to the U.S. In this role, Ms. Esser developed employee communication strategies and training vehicles for key Human Resources activities and partnered with the Office of the General Counsel on government reporting regulations and compliance requirements. Ms. Esser also held positions of increasing responsibility for Deloitte Consulting in Boston and Los Angeles and for CSC Index in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
