Leah Eubanks is an associate in the Business Law Department and a member of the Private Equity group at Goodwin. She joined Goodwin in 2021. Ms. Eubanks’ practice specializes in advising private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in a wide variety of transactions, including leveraged buyouts, mergers, acquisitions, growth equity investments and other corporate matters. She has experience representing corporate strategic, private equity and search fund clients in structuring, negotiating, documenting and closing private mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, including assisting private equity funds with the purchase, ongoing representation and sale of portfolio companies.
Ms. Eubanks is admitted to practice in Illinois and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office only. She is working under the supervision of DC-admitted lawyers at Goodwin.
In law school, Ms. Eubanks served as a Notes and Comments Editor on the Chicago-Kent Law Review and as the Editor-in-Chief of the Chicago-Kent Journal of IP. Ms. Eubanks was also a member of the Order of the Coif.
Ms. Eubanks has been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for 2021 and Best Lawyers in New England: Ones to Watch 2022.
