Among her recent matters, Ms. Ewald has represented:
- A former investment banking analyst at a major U.S. bank, who was charged with insider trading in the Central District of California by the U.S. Department of Justice and the SEC.
- A senior manager at a major U.S. bank in criminal and civil investigations regarding the bank’s LIBOR submissions.
- A former CEO of an international oil company in civil securities litigation in the Southern District of New York, in which plaintiffs allege that the company’s financial statements were false and misleading on account of a failure to disclose a corruption scheme involving certain executives, political leaders, and contractors.
Prior to joining Goodwin, Ms. Ewald served as a law clerk to Judge I. Leo Glasser of the U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of New York and as a staff law clerk in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
