Mr. Fannion has served as a law clerk to Chief Judge Donald C. Pogue and Chief Judge Timothy C. Stanceu of the U.S. Court of International Trade in New York. He was also appointed a Lecturer in Harvard University’s honors degree program in Social Studies and Visiting Professor of Political Science at Reed College. He has been an invited guest lecturer on the history of European industrialization at Harvard University and on postwar German politics at the United States Military Academy at West Point. His other professional experience includes drafting a congressional report on international labor rights for the U.S. Department of Labor and employment as a research associate at the Wissenschaftszentrum für Sozialforschung in Berlin working on international coordination of wage bargaining.
Prior to joining Goodwin, Mr. Fannion spent two years at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett’s Silicon Valley office, serving private equity and banking clients in both debt financing and acquisitions, including a $2.3 billion asset sale by a global software company and the $1.7 billion sale of a major provider of data center services.
