Prior to joining Goodwin, Mr. Flairty was a litigation associate in the San Francisco office of Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP, where he focused on intellectual property litigation. During law school, he served as a law clerk at the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of the Solicitor, and at the Office of the City Attorney of San Francisco.
Matthew G. Flairty
Matthew Flairty is an associate in the firm’s Business Law Department and a member of its Technology & Life Sciences group. Mr. Flairty advises founder, company, and investor clients on a variety of corporate and transactional matters, including formations, financings, investments, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Flairty joined Goodwin in 2015.
While attending law school, Mr. Flairty served as an articles editor for the Berkeley Business Law Journal. He was also a member of moot court and earned an Honorable Mention at the 19th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna, Austria.
