Tami Goldberg is counsel in the firm’s Business Law Department and a member of the firm's Private Equity group. Ms. Goldberg has more than 15 years combined private practice and in-house experience advising private equity firms and Wall Street banks in mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, and other corporate and strategic transactions with a particular focus on the technology and finance sectors.
Prior to joining Goodwin in 2018, Ms. Goldberg was counsel in Fenwick & West’s Private Equity and FinTech practice groups. Ms. Goldberg also spent nine years as a lead legal counsel for Bank of America’s principal investments group on strategic investments. During her time at Bank of America, Ms. Goldberg structured and negotiated investments in various technology companies that developed and enhanced key customer facing services, technology suites and other technology applications. She also worked alongside other top Wall Street banks to promote broad industry adoption of the target technologies.
Prior to Bank of America, Ms. Goldberg was counsel in the Private Equity practice of a large U.S. law firm where she primarily represented one of the largest global private equity firms.
