Brett Good is an associate in the firm’s Business Law Department and a member of its ERISA & Executive Compensation group. He joined Goodwin in 2017.
Mr. Good advises a wide variety of clients, including both public and private companies, on employee benefit and compensation issues, as well as tax and securities law issues, in connection with mergers and acquisitions, financings, initial public offerings and other corporate transactions. In addition, he represents employers and executives in the negotiation, design and implementation of employment, severance and change in control arrangements, deferred compensation plans, and equity and other incentive compensation plans and arrangements.
Prior to joining Goodwin, Mr. Good was an associate at Bass, Berry & Sims PLC.
While attending law school, Mr. Good was an extern for Justice Don Willett of the Supreme Court of Texas and for the Texas County and District Retirement System.
Mr. Good is admitted to practice in Tennessee only; his application to the California bar is pending. He is working under the supervision of the partners at Goodwin.
