Tony Guan is an associate in the firm’s Business Law Department and a member of its ERISA + Executive Compensation Group.
Mr. Guan advises clients, including public and private companies, on employee benefit and compensation issues, and on tax and securities law issues, in connection with mergers and acquisitions, financings, initial public offerings and other corporate transactions. In addition, he represents employers and executives in the negotiation, design and implementation of employment, severance and change in control arrangements, deferred compensation plans, and equity and other incentive compensation plans and arrangements.
Prior to joining Goodwin in 2018, Mr. Guan was an employment litigation associate in New York.
Mr. Guan is currently admitted to practice in New York only; his application to the California bar is pending. He is working under the supervision of partners at Goodwin.
