Kieran K. Johal
Kieran Johal is an associate in the firm’s Business Law Department and a member of its ERISA & Executive Compensation group. She joined Goodwin in 2017.
Ms. Johal has experience advising clients on Title I of ERISA, including fiduciary, investment and prohibited transaction matters as well as counseling investment managers and investment funds regarding the establishment and operation of collective investment funds, venture capital operating companies and real estate operating companies.
In addition, Ms. Johal advises a wide variety of clients, including both public and private companies, with respect to the employee benefit and compensation aspects of mergers and acquisitions, financings, initial public offerings and other corporate transactions. She also represents employers and executives in the negotiation, design and implementation of employment, severance and change in control arrangements, deferred compensation plans, and equity and other incentive compensation plans and arrangements.
