Jesse Lempel is an associate in the firm’s Litigation department and a member of its Appellate and Supreme Court Litigation practice. Jesse’s work focuses on appellate matters and complex civil litigation.

Before joining Goodwin in 2022, Jesse clerked for Judge Bruce M. Selya of the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and for Judge William G. Young of the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He was also a litigation associate in the New York office of Davis Polk & Wardwell.

Jesse graduated from Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review.
