Jiachen Liu is an associate in the firm’s Private Equity group and a member of its Private Investment Funds practice.
Jiachen focuses her practice on the formation, compliance, and on-going management of a variety of private investment vehicles, including private equity, real estate, and venture capital funds. She also has experience in secondary transactions, including limited partner transfers and GP-led restructurings. She joined Goodwin in 2021.

Professional Experience
While attending law school, Jiachen was an executive editor for the Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property. She was the Kirkland & Ellis Scholar for Securities Regulation. She was also the Teaching Assistant for Basic Federal Income Taxation. Jiachen worked in the venture capital industry prior to law school.
