Adrianne Marshack is a partner in the firm’s Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice. Ms. Marshack focuses her practice on class actions and complex commercial litigation representing clients in the areas of consumer class actions, unfair competition, false advertising and trade secrets. She has substantial experience representing employers in all aspects of litigation, including employee class actions, wage and hour issues, discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination proceedings in state and federal court. In addition, Ms. Marshack counsels clients on certain employment issues (including employee class actions, discrimination, and wrongful termination), advertising and marketing, and proactive protection of rights in trade secrets.

Professional Experience

Prior to joining Goodwin, Ms. Marshack was most recently a partner at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips LLP. Prior to practicing law, Ms. Marshack was an elementary school teacher in South Central Los Angeles, within the Los Angeles Unified School District.

While in law school, Ms. Marshack was a Solicitations Editor for the UCLA Women’s Law Journal.

Professional Activities

Ms. Marshack currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Orange County Bar Association (2017-present), Orange County Lavender Bar Association (2021-present), and the Public Law Center (2018-present), Orange County’s largest pro-bono law firm. Ms. Marshack was also the Young Lawyers Division Char for the Orange County chapter of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers from 2016-2017. She is also a member of the Orange County Women Lawyers Association.

She is also a founding member of the Board of Directors of MaxLove Project, Inc., which supports research, education, and family and patient advocacy relating to childhood cancer and other life-threatening childhood diseases, and has served on the Board for ten years. Ms. Marshack has also served on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Advisory Panel for the Children’s Hospital of Orange County.

Recognition

Ms. Marshack was selected as a Southern California “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers in 2017. She was also named a 2017 and 2018 “Outstanding Volunteer” by OneOC (Orange County’s nonprofit resource center).
